The My PR Partner team

About the My PR Partner online schools program

Schools have unique challenges on a regular basis, and your team will be upskilled on how to handle them, and proactively communicate and use PR better. Your journey starts from the first month and builds over time, going deeper as your knowledge increases.

Each month’s training focuses on different team members. Some months are specifically for principals and executive staff while others are for those involved in communications. This allows you to learn together and create a shared culture and language, and means that not everyone needs to view the training every month. Some content even assists teachers as they are a vital – and often overlooked – part of the communications team (they speak to parents and students more than anyone.)

Strategically, your team will learn how to:

  • Adopt a mindset that considers the public relations benefits and ramifications in everything they do
  • Position your school publicly as the school of choice for many prospective parents
  • Continually build trust with your school community – specifically parents and staff.
  • Strengthen relationships with those who matter most to your school, when it’s most challenging to do so
  • Develop communication strategies that resonate emotionally, powerfully connecting you with those you are leading (whether internally and or externally)
  • Deal with allegations and issues in a way that is not only best practice, but that build trust
  • Get ahead of and own the narrative of a major issue or crisis
  • Apply different formulas to effectively develop crisis response strategies over the long-term
  • Develop and integrate your crisis communication program

Hone the skills that enable your team to lead with empathy, and own the narrative of your own story.
